Freight Specialist

Role Description The Freight Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Egypt, responsible for coordinating and managing freight operations Import & Export, Ocean and Air from origin to destination. This role involves arranging freight forwarding services, preparing and reviewing shipping documentation, and ensuring compliance with customs and regulatory requirements. The Freight Specialist will track shipments, update internal systems, and proactively communicate with customers, carriers, and internal teams to resolve issues and maintain service quality. Day-to-day tasks include rate and route planning, coordination with logistics partners, monitoring delivery timelines, and supporting the optimization of freight and logistics processes. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to manage stakeholder interactions and resolve shipment inquiries professionally. Practical experience in Freight and Freight Forwarding to coordinate shipments, prepare documentation, and handle transport-related requirements. Relevant experience in international logistics, customs procedures, or supply chain operations, preferably within freight forwarding or 3PL environments. Ability to work in a fast-paced setting, prioritize multiple tasks, and maintain accuracy and attention to detail. Proficiency with logistics software, shipment tracking tools, and MS Office applications. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on process improvement and cost efficiency. bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field is preferred.
