Senior Network and Security Engineer

The Senior Network and Security Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, integrating, and troubleshooting enterprise network and security solutions across multi-vendor environments. The role requires extensive hands-on technical expertise, experience delivering complex projects within a System Integrator (SI) environment, and the ability to develop network architectures, lead technical discussions, and ensure compliance with applicable Qatar cybersecurity standards. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, configure, and troubleshoot enterprise network and security solutions across multi-vendor environments. Work with Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, F5, and Check Point technologies. Develop High-Level Designs (HLD), Low-Level Designs (LLD), network architecture diagrams, and technical documentation. Manage and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, wireless networks, WAN, VPNs, and IP telephony. Implement network segmentation, high availability, redundancy, and secure connectivity solutions. Perform advanced network troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and packet analysis using Wireshark. Lead customer discussions, technical presentations, workshops, solution deployments, and infrastructure migrations. Manage technical escalations, system integration, project documentation, and knowledge transfer. Provide technical guidance to engineering teams and coordinate with customers, vendors, and project stakeholders. Ensure solutions align with industry best practices, customer requirements, and applicable Qatar cybersecurity standards. Mandatory Requirements 12–16 years of professional experience in networking and security. Proven experience working within a System Integrator (SI) environment. Strong hands-on experience with enterprise networking and multiple security vendors. Experience in network and security architecture, HLD/LLD development, implementation, and troubleshooting. Strong knowledge of routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, and network security technologies. Experience with Palo Alto and Fortinet security solutions is highly desirable. Excellent customer-facing, technical communication, and problem-solving skills. Experience delivering projects in banking, transportation, public sector, or education is preferred. CISSP or GIAC certification is an advantage. Show more Show less
