We’re Hiring | Junior Architect 📍 Location: Amman, Jordan 🏢 Company: PODIUM Architects 💼 Position: Junior Architect – Architecture & Interior Design 📌 Experience Required: 2–3 Years PODIUM Architects is seeking a talented, creative, and detail-oriented Junior Architect to join our design team in Amman, Jordan. We are looking for a motivated professional with a strong passion for both architecture and interior design, excellent design and technical skills, and the ability to contribute to projects through 2D drafting, 3D modeling, visualization, and design development. The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong design sensibility, creative thinking, technical accuracy, and the ability to deliver high-quality architectural and interior design work across different project stages. Key Responsibilities Contribute to the development of creative architectural and interior design concepts, design proposals, and spatial solutions. Prepare detailed 2D architectural and interior design drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, detailed drawings, and technical documentation. Develop high-quality 3D models, renderings, and architectural and interior visualizations. Assist in the preparation of concept design, schematic design, detailed design, and construction drawing packages. Develop interior design proposals, including space planning, furniture layouts, material selections, finishes, and design detailing. Prepare professional design presentations, mood boards, material boards, diagrams, and visual communication materials. Translate creative design concepts into accurate, coordinated, and technically developed 2D and 3D deliverables. Research contemporary architectural and interior design trends, innovative materials, furniture, and finishing solutions. Incorporate design revisions, technical comments, and client feedback accurately and efficiently. Coordinate with senior architects, interior designers, engineers, consultants, and other project stakeholders. Participate in design reviews, brainstorming sessions, project coordination meetings, and client presentations. Support the preparation of project submissions, architectural proposals, and design competitions. Ensure consistency, accuracy, and high design quality throughout all assigned deliverables. Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering. 2–3 years of professional experience in architectural design, interior design. Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp, with strong expertise in producing accurate technical drawings and high-quality 3D models. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Experience in architectural and interior rendering software, such as Enscape. Strong understanding of architectural and interior design drawings, detailing, materials, and construction documentation. Excellent design sensibility, spatial awareness, and creative problem-solving skills. Strong architectural and interior design presentation and graphic communication capabilities. Ability to work on both architectural and interior design tasks, from initial concepts to detailed technical deliverables. Ability to manage multiple assignments, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines. Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills. Strong attention to detail, functionality, aesthetics, and overall design quality. A proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and commitment to continuous professional development.
