Tax Specialist

Roles & Responsibilities Conducting second-level reviews of Corporate Income Tax , Transfer Pricing filings prepared by subsidiary tax teams Conducting reconciliation and integrity validation of tax-related accounts, such as VAT and corporate income tax, to ensure accuracy and compliance for subsidiary’s F/S Preparation and Consolidating requirements for tax audits and disputes Assisting others MEA subsidiaries as deemed required in any tax related matters thru RHQ tax team Conducting studies on the development of UAE Corporate Income Tax including implementation of Pillar 2 and other related new tax agendas and contributing to internal policy formulation Coordinate with local tax team and consultant with each subsidiary in managing tax risks and periodic reporting/requirements. Prepare reports, tax related updates and internal communications as deemed necessary to avoid or mitigate tax risks and exposures. Others inherent to tax responsibilities Qualifications& Requirements (Check Essential/Preference) Strong relationship-building skills are essential when working with employees in subsidiaries under MEA Headquarter The role may involve occasional travel to discuss and resolve issues on-site 3~7 years of strong work experience in tax with MEA Bachelor's degree preferably in business management or accounting Proficient in the English language No restrictions on international travel outside the UAE CPA, CA or any certification are an advantage, but not required.
