Job Vacancy: Assessors & Internal Quality Assurers (IQA)

Location: Dubai, UAE Institution: Mount Institute of Business Development (MIBD) Job Description Mount Institute of Business Development (MIBD), Dubai, is seeking qualified and experienced Assessors and Internal Quality Assurers (IQAs) with relevant academic or industry backgrounds in their respective subject areas. Successful candidates will be responsible for assessing learner performance, maintaining academic standards, and ensuring compliance with the requirements of OTHM Level 4 and Level 5 Diploma programmes. Subject Specialisations We are recruiting Assessors and IQAs in the following fields: Health and Social Care Management Logistics and Supply Chain Management Information Technology Tourism and Hospitality Management Key Responsibilities Assessors: Assess student assignments in accordance with OTHM assessment criteria and standards. Provide constructive feedback to support learner development. Maintain accurate assessment records and ensure timely completion of assessments. Ensure assessments comply with institutional and awarding body requirements. Internal Quality Assurers (IQAs): Monitor and verify assessment decisions to ensure consistency, fairness, and accuracy. Review assessment practices and provide feedback to Assessors. Maintain quality assurance documentation and ensure compliance with OTHM standards. Support continuous improvement in assessment and academic quality. Requirements Bachelor's degree or relevant professional qualification in the respective subject specialisation. Strong subject knowledge with relevant academic or industry experience. Previous experience in assessing, teaching, or delivering diploma-level qualifications. Familiarity with UK-regulated qualifications, particularly OTHM, is preferred. Excellent communication, organisational, and documentation skills. A recognised Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) or Internal Verification (IV) qualification/certification is mandatory. Important: Applicants without a recognised IQA or IV certification will not be considered. Candidates must also demonstrate relevant qualifications and experience in their selected subject specialisation.
