AI Automation & Business Analysis Specialist

Position Summary The AI Automation & Business Analysis Specialist supports HyperPay’s digital transformation by finding manual, repetitive work across departments and turning it into reliable, well-controlled automation, for example reconciliations, recurring reports, data checks and request handling in Finance, Operations, Risk and other teams. The role sits in the Data & Business Analysis function and combines business analysis (understanding a process, its exceptions and its controls) with hands-on building (AI tools, workflow automation, SQL, Python and Power BI). A key part of the job is judgment: deciding what should be automated with fixed rules, where AI genuinely adds value, and where a person must stay in control, especially where money, merchant data or card data are involved. Key Responsibilities A. AI and Business Process Automation Analyze existing processes, including their exceptions and controls, and recommend practical improvements to efficiency, accuracy and service. Work with departments to identify repetitive, manual, high-volume or error-prone tasks, and assess whether each should be automated, simplified or left as it is. Maintain a prioritized pipeline of automation use cases, with a clear recommendation for each: prototype, pilot, full implementation or stop. Design and build working prototypes and solutions using workflow automation (e.g. n8n, Power Automate), Python, SQL and AI tools, using fixed rules for calculations and matching, and AI only where it adds clear value. Build controls into every automation: input validation, control totals, exception queues, human approval before any money movement, and protection of sensitive data such as card numbers. Monitor automations after go-live, investigate failures and exceptions, and improve them based on results and user feedback. Document each automation: requirements, process maps, test cases and testing evidence, controls, user guides and operating procedures. B. Data Analysis, Dashboarding and Reporting Analyze operational, merchant, transaction, financial and performance data based on approved business needs. Develop and maintain reports, dashboards and KPI-monitoring tools that provide clear and actionable business insights. Identify trends, exceptions, performance gaps and improvement opportunities through structured data analysis. Turn ad hoc analysis into short, clear recommendations for business stakeholders and management. Automate recurring reports and support the standardization of data definitions, reporting logic and delivery processes. Validate data accuracy, reconcile data between sources, investigate quality issues and coordinate fixes with data owners. Coordinate with business and technical teams throughout the solution-development lifecycle. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Management Information Systems, Business Administration or a related discipline. 1–3 years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, process improvement, automation or digital transformation. Experience gathering requirements, documenting processes and working with business and technical teams. Hands-on experience building automations or AI-assisted solutions, for example with n8n, Power Automate, Python or low-code / no-code platforms. Examples of past projects are a plus. Good working knowledge of SQL, Excel and Power BI or similar analysis and visualization tools. Familiarity with APIs and webhooks, cloud data platforms (e.g. Microsoft Fabric or Azure). Experience or strong interest in payments, fintech or financial operations (e.g. settlements and reconciliation) is an advantage. Awareness of data privacy and information security (e.g. PCI DSS and personal-data protection laws), AI governance and change control is preferred. Good written and spoken English and Arabic.
