Performance Specialist

Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain performance and stress test scripts using Grafana K6 as the primary tool, targeting APIs, Web Apps, and Integration points such as messaging systems. Build and maintain the ingestion pipeline that converts and normalizes scanner exports (CSV, JSON, XML, SARIF) and imports them reliably. Define and document load test strategies — including load, stress, spike, soak, and volume testing — aligned with product scalability requirements. Analyze test results, identify performance regressions, and produce clear reports with root-cause findings and recommendations. · Collaborate with DevOps engineers to integrate performance tests into CI/CD pipelines and establish automated performance gates. · Maintain and continuously improve the performance testing framework, ensuring tests remain reliable, reproducible, and maintainable. Requirements 3–5 years of experience in software quality engineering with a dedicated focus on performance and load testing. Hands-on proficiency with Grafana K6, including scripting complex scenarios, using K6 extensions, and interpreting K6 output metrics. Practical experience with monitoring and observability tools — Grafana dashboards, InfluxDB, or Prometheus — to correlate performance test results with system metrics. Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language — JavaScript/TypeScript preferred (native to K6 and Playwright).
