Role Description The Senior Structural Engineer will play a leading role in the design and review of structural systems for infrastructure, industrial, and commercial projects, ensuring safety, durability, and compliance with relevant codes and standards. Responsibilities include performing detailed structural analysis and calculations, preparing and reviewing engineering drawings and models using CAD tools, and coordinating with civil, architectural, and MEP teams to integrate structural solutions into overall project designs. The role involves supervising and mentoring junior engineers, reviewing contractor and consultant submissions, and supporting value engineering initiatives to optimize cost, performance, and constructability. The Senior Structural Engineer will also participate in site inspections, technical meetings, and design reviews to resolve structural issues and support smooth project execution. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo. Qualifications Strong foundation in Structural Engineering and Civil Engineering, with the ability to lead complex structural design and review activities. Proficiency in Structural Analysis and Calculations, including the use of relevant structural analysis software and application of international and local codes. Hands-on experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for preparing, reviewing, and coordinating structural drawings and models. Demonstrated experience managing structural aspects of large-scale infrastructure or industrial projects, preferably within an EPC or multidisciplinary environment. Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; a master’s degree, professional registration, or chartered status is an advantage. Strong project coordination, communication, and documentation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Experience with construction methodologies, site supervision, and resolving technical issues during execution; familiarity with safety and quality standards. Ability to mentor junior engineers, manage deadlines, and handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment; fluency in English, with Arabic considered beneficial. 6-8 Years of Experience Show more Show less
