Finance Director

Polaris Parks as the leading industrial real estate developer, seeks a Finance Director to lead its finance function across industrial, residential and facility management operations. This key role reports to the Managing Director and leads accounting, treasury, receivables, payables and FP&A. It also owns the group’s banking relationships, funding position and corporate governance calendar. Duties and responsibilities: Lead the accounting, treasury, receivables, payables and FP&A functions and their teams. Own cash management, liquidity planning, treasury reporting and the group cash flow forecast. Manage relationships banks, covering facilities, pricing, account structures and escrow arrangements. Plan funding for land instalments, infrastructure and construction programs. Finalize periodic and annual financial statements, lead the external audit and present results to the board. Prepare OGMs, EGMs and board meetings for group companies. Review the financial aspects of strategic projects and partnership structures with project and department heads. Manage tax compliance and disputes with external advisers. Enforce internal controls, payment approvals and delegation of authority. Set collection and payment plan policies for residential instalments and industrial land sales. Drive cost optimization and deliver budgets, management reporting and analytics. Lead finance adoption of the Odoo ERP. Oversee related administration and the IT functions. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or banking. CPA, CMA or CFA is strongly preferred. 15+ years of progressive finance experience, including at least 5 years as Financial Controller, Head of Finance or equivalent. Career weighted toward , corporate finance, treasury or investment banking is an advantage. Proven record negotiating credit facilities, project finance or escrow structures with Egyptian banks. Strong knowledge of accounting standards, Egyptian corporate tax and corporate governance requirements. Background in real estate development, industrial parks or capital-intensive sectors is a plus.
