Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Systems Specialist to join our Technology Operations team. The role will be responsible for the administration, operation, monitoring and continuous improvement of our on-premise IT infrastructure, with a strong focus on VMware and Microsoft 365 (O365) environments. Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain enterprise VMware infrastructure and associated technologies. Administer and support Microsoft 365 (O365), including Exchange Online, Teams and OneDrive. Manage Windows and Linux server environments. Support Microsoft Active Directory, domain and file server infrastructure. Manage SCCM, SCOM and Microsoft Intune (MDM/MAM) environments. Manage server hardware, storage and operating system infrastructure. Perform operating system and infrastructure patching and maintenance. Support endpoint security technologies, including AV, EDR and email filtering. Manage proxy and reverse proxy infrastructure. Perform and support enterprise backup and disaster recovery activities. Monitor infrastructure availability, performance and capacity, troubleshooting issues in line with established procedures. Use PowerShell and other automation tools to improve infrastructure administration and operational efficiency. Monitor security alerts and coordinate incident response activities with internal and external teams. Support security assessments, vulnerability management and remediation activities. Maintain accurate systems and infrastructure inventories. Evaluate infrastructure weaknesses and recommend improvements based on industry best practices. Work closely with Information Security and other IT teams to ensure secure implementation of new technologies. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in Systems Administration. UAE experience is strongly preferred. Strong hands-on experience managing VMware infrastructure. Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 (O365), including Exchange Online, Teams and OneDrive. Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory and enterprise on-premise infrastructure. Experience with SCCM, SCOM and Microsoft Intune is preferred. Experience with enterprise backup and disaster recovery solutions. Knowledge of PowerShell or other infrastructure automation tools. Good understanding of infrastructure security, vulnerability management and identity management. Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced enterprise technology environment.
