Job Description: Senior Interior Designer ​Job Overview: ​Job Title: Senior Interior Designer / Lead Interior Designer ​Experience Required: 10+ years of proven experience in interior design and fit-out execution. ​Job Level: Senior / Leadership Level ​Job Summary: ​We are seeking a creative, highly skilled, and detail-oriented Senior Interior Designer with at least 10 years of experience to lead and manage high-end interior design projects from initial concept through to final handover. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional aesthetic vision, strong technical expertise, and proven leadership capabilities to guide design teams, collaborate with clients, and ensure flawless on-site execution. ​Key Responsibilities: ​Design & Concept Development: ​Lead the development of comprehensive design concepts, mood boards, space planning, material palettes, furniture selections, and lighting schemes for luxury residential, commercial, or hospitality projects. ​Translate client briefs and architectural constraints into functional, innovative, and visually stunning interior spaces. ​Technical Drawings & Documentation: ​Review and approve detailed shop drawings, layout plans, ceiling plans, flooring layouts, and joinery details. ​Oversee the production of high-quality 3D visualizations and professional client presentations. ​Site Supervision & Quality Control: ​Conduct regular site visits to ensure execution aligns strictly with approved designs, specifications, and quality standards. ​Resolve site coordination issues proactively and liaise with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers. ​Team Leadership & Coordination: ​Mentor, guide, and review the work of junior and mid-level interior designers within the team. ​Coordinate seamlessly with cross-functional teams, including architects, structural engineers, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) specialists. ​Client Relations: ​Represent the company professionally in client meetings, present design solutions, and manage client feedback and design changes effectively. ​Requirements & Qualifications: ​Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or Architecture. ​Experience: Minimum 10 years of solid professional experience in reputable interior design firms, engineering consultancies, or fit-out contracting companies. ​Technical Skills (Software): ​Mastery of AutoCAD, 3ds Max (or SketchUp), and rendering engines (V-Ray / Corona). ​Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and InDesign for presentations. ​Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management tools. ​Technical Knowledge: ​Extensive knowledge of interior finishes, materials, fixtures, furniture vendors, and local/regional market pricing. ​Strong understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and construction methods. ​Soft Skills: ​Exceptional leadership and team-management abilities. ​Outstanding communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. ​Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines. ​Would you like to customize this further for a specific sector (such as residential compounds, commercial offices, or hospitality projects)?
