Senior Manager - Landscape and Master Planning

We are currently hiring for the role of an innovative and strategic Senior Manager - Landscape & Master Planning to drive the vision, design quality and physical integration of public spaces, parks, green infrastructure, and community master plans across QD Egypt's portfolio. This role will ensure that all infrastructure and public realm components are scalable, sustainable, and perfectly synchronized with project's phasing, commercial goals and QD standards. Candidate Profile: Bachelor's degree in urban planning, Landscape Architecture or Civil Engineering. 12+ years of experience in design management overseeing infrastructure heavy master plans. Job Responsibilities: Master Plan Stewardship & Integration Plan Phasing: Assist the Project Team in the planning, development, and strategic phasing of the Project Master Plan to ensure logical infrastructure growth. MasterPlan Governance: Decide on critical changes to the MasterPlan once design is underway; approve mission-critical changes and draw plans to minimize cost and time impacts. Cross-Functional Linkage: Coordinate with Legal, Finance, and Sales to ensurethe Master Plan reflects land-use optimization and commercial exploitation opportunities. Landscape &Utilities Oversight Technical Design Management: Oversee the design of public realms, parks, and hard/soft landscaping, ensuring they integrate seamlessly with utility corridors and "smart city" infrastructure. Utility Strategy: Manage the technical requirements for power, water, district cooling, and telecommunications, ensuring capacity meets current and future demand. Design Standards: Recommend design standards for Landscape and Utilities that prioritize innovation, sustainability (GSAS/LEED), and cost-effectiveness. Consultant &Technical Office Management Performance Tracking: Track the progress of Technical Office Consultants to ensure they meet deadlines and deliver high-quality, coordinated shop drawings. Guidance & Review: Provide technical guidance to consultants and approve their work to ensure it meets strict project requirements and international codes. Packaging & Award: Assist in developing DesignConsultant Packages; oversee prequalification, RFPpreparation, and technical adjudication for the award process. Site Execution & Quality Control Mockup Approval: Following the approval of materials and shop drawings, review and approve site installation mockups or source-material mockups (e.g., nurseries or pre-cast plants). RFI & QueryResolution: Resolve all technical queries regarding finishes, services, and structure; finalize detailed issues with Contractor staff and Resident Engineers (R.E.). Construction Coordination: Work with the construction team to ensure the contractor delivers according to specific design specs, timeline, and budget. Project Controls & Reporting Schedule & Budget Compliance: Monitor critical milestones and make resource decisions to prevent delays; escalate significant cost or timeline changes to senior management. Value Engineering (VE): Oversee design reviews and lead Consultant Value Engineering workshops to optimize lifecycle costs for utilities and landscape maintenance.
