Retail Maintenance Section Head

We’re looking for a Retail Maintenance Section Head to take charge of all technical and facility-related matters across our network of retail stores. This is a strategic, hands-on leadership role where your expertise will directly impact customer experience, operational efficiency, and store safety. From preventive maintenance planning to managing emergency repairs, you’ll be leading a skilled team, optimizing performance, and ensuring every store runs smoothly. As part of our greater mission to make healthier food choices accessible and sustainable for people's everyday lifestyle - we're extending our commitment to the region with our entry into the Saudi Arabian market, with a substantial retail expansion plan and on-ground operations starting Q2, 2025 in Riyadh. Lychee relies on both its manufacturing capabilities and brand recognition built over a decade to expand its retail operations seamlessly based on customer demand and to scale its existing presence in modern trade, traditional trade and quick commerce. What will you be doing? Lead and manage the maintenance team responsible for all retail store locations. Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance plans to ensure minimal disruption to store operations. Oversee repairs for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, and all critical store infrastructure. Conduct site inspections to ensure safety, functionality, and adherence to company standards. Manage third-party maintenance contractors and ensure compliance with SLAs. Prepare and control the maintenance budget, including spare parts inventory and procurement. Collaborate with the Projects and Operations teams for new store launches, refurbishments, and technical setups. Implement systems for tracking maintenance requests, resolution timelines, and cost efficiency. Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for recurring technical issues. Ensure compliance with local safety, health, and environmental regulations. Build and mentor a strong technical team; set KPIs and monitor team performance. Regularly report on maintenance metrics, cost savings, and operational risks to senior management. What are we looking for? Bachelor's degree in Engineering Minimum of 7 years of work experience in maintenance; preferably in F&B, Retail, or multi-site operations Strong Knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, fire safety and equipment troubleshooting Proven ability to lead a field team, coordinate with cross – functional departments, and manage vendors effectively Strong ability to design preventive maintenance schedules, prioritize tasks, and manage time-sensitive repairs Experience in managing maintenance budgets and cost control measures Strong interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
