Senior Trader - Fertilizer

Role: Senior Fertilizer Trader Location: Dubai, UAE Salary: Up to AED 30,000 per month | Negotiable based on experience and trading portfolio Language: Russian(for focusing Russia and CIS/Stan Geography) and English Trading experience in one or more of the following: Urea, Sulphur, DAP, MAP, NPK, Rock Phosphate, Ammonium Sulphate, or related commodities. We are seeking an experienced Senior Fertilizer Trader with a proven track record in international commodity trading, sourcing, and origination. The ideal candidate will bring an established network of suppliers and buyers across CIS and Russia, along with strong commercial expertise in fertilizer trading. Key Responsibilities Drive fertilizer trading activities, including sourcing, origination, negotiation, and execution of international trades. Develop and maintain strong relationships with producers, suppliers, distributors, and buyers. Identify new trading opportunities and expand the companys presence across CIS & Russia Manage the full trading cycle, including pricing, contracts, logistics, trade finance, and risk exposure. Negotiate competitive commercial terms while maximizing trading margins and profitability. Monitor market trends, supply-demand dynamics, pricing movements, and international commodity developments. Key Requirements 5–10 years of experience in fertilizer / international commodity trading. Strong expertise in sourcing, origination, and direct engagement with producers and suppliers. Proven trading portfolio with a demonstrable commercial track record. Established network of suppliers and buyers across CIS and Russia market. Hands-on trading experience in one or more of the following: Urea, Sulphur, DAP, MAP, NPK, Rock Phosphate, Ammonium Sulphate, or related commodities. Strong knowledge of Incoterms, letters of credit (LC), trade finance, contracts, international logistics, and risk management. Willingness to travel internationally. Show more Show less
