ABOUT THE ROLE Position: AI Architect Location: UAE – AUH Must Have Skills: AI Application Solution Design (Strong) Data Science on Azure (Strong) Machine Learning Solution Design (Strong) RAG Workflow (Strong) Technology Architect – Generative AI Role Summary Leads application AI architecture, governs AI platform strategy, and designs scalable, compliant, and modular AI ecosystems. Provides thought leadership across Generative AI, agentic systems, ML platforms, and cloud-native engineering. Enables business transformation by shaping AI roadmaps and ensuring technical excellence across squads. Roles and Responsibilities Define modular, reusable architectural patterns and foundational platform assets to drive enterprise-wide consistency and reduce technical debt. Translate business vision into scalable AI platform architectures aligned with enterprise guardrails – monitoring, security layers, auditability, RBAC, fairness, and explainability. Evaluate and benchmark AI frameworks, vendor platforms, vector databases, and model-hosting strategies for client consulting. Coach tech leads and engineers on architectural best practices and scalable cloud-native design. Drive research and innovation in agentic systems and optimization of existing RAG pipelines. Stakeholder Management & Value Enablement: Partner with product, business, and engineering stakeholders to co-shape AI strategy, value propositions, and roadmap alignment. Lead pre-sales architecture reviews, technical workshops, and solution design sessions with business and technology leaders. Hands-on & Technical Requirements: Must be hands-on in Python and capable of reviewing and contributing to complex implementations. Demonstrable prior experience in building agentic GenAI systems and advanced RAG architectures. Good foundation in traditional ML and data science, including feature engineering, experimentation, and model evaluation. Experience using Compass AI services in production-grade projects.
