Role Description The Tour Operator role at Real Egypt Tours is a full-time, on-site position based in Cairo, Egypt. The Tour Operator is responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating guided tours and travel itineraries across Egypt and, when needed, Sudan. Day-to-day tasks include communicating with guests, answering inquiries, creating customized travel plans, making reservations for transportation and accommodation, and coordinating with local guides and service providers. The role involves managing bookings, handling customer service issues, and supporting sales efforts by presenting tour options and upselling additional services. The Tour Operator is expected to ensure smooth tour operations, accurate documentation, and high levels of guest satisfaction throughout their travel experience. Qualifications Experience in Guided Tours, including planning itineraries, coordinating logistics, and working with local guides. Knowledge of Travel & Tourism, with an understanding of destination highlights, cultural norms, and responsible tourism practices. Strong Customer Service skills, with the ability to handle inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain a professional and welcoming attitude. Reservations and booking experience, including managing transportation, accommodation, and activity confirmations. Sales skills related to tour packages, add-on services, and promoting company offerings to potential and existing guests. Proficiency in English; additional languages such as Arabic or other major tourist languages are an advantage. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation. Comfort working in an on-site, dynamic environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners. Prior experience in the travel industry or a related field; relevant certifications or tourism/hospitality education are a plus. Show more Show less
