Senior Software Test Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API applications, ensuring high-quality software delivery. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in automation testing, API testing, mobile testing, and CI/CD integration, preferably within banking or financial services. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API testing. Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java, Python, Selenium, Appium, and relevant testing frameworks. Perform API, integration, functional, regression, and end-to-end testing. Implement BDD testing using Cucumber and Gherkin. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and manage test execution and reporting. Conduct performance, load, and stress testing. Ensure application security through authentication, authorization, and security testing. Manage test data, environments, and test execution. Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and Product teams to improve software quality. Participate in defect analysis, code reviews, and Agile ceremonies. Leverage AI tools to improve test automation efficiency and test coverage. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in Software Testing / Test Automation. Strong programming experience in Java and/or Python. Hands-on experience with Selenium and Appium. Experience building and maintaining automation frameworks. Strong experience in API testing using REST Assured, Postman, Karate, or similar tools. Experience with TestNG, Cucumber, or PyTest. Good understanding of SQL, REST APIs, and microservices. Hands-on experience integrating automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar). Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling, or k6. Knowledge of Git, Agile methodologies, and defect management tools. Understanding of security testing concepts, OAuth2, JWT, and authentication flows. Experience with mobile testing across Android and iOS. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in banking, fintech, or financial services. Experience with contract testing (Pact / Spring Cloud Contract). Knowledge of accessibility and visual regression testing. Familiarity with cloud-based device testing platforms such as BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.
