Project Planner

Candidzone is seeking an experienced Project Planner for a building project in Qatar. The ideal candidate should have a relevant engineering or construction management qualification, strong experience in project planning and scheduling, and GCC experience working with consultancy firms. Experience in hospitality and similar building projects is highly desirable. 📍 Location: Qatar 🎓 Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline 🏨 Project Experience: Hospitality and similar building projects 🪪 QID: Valid Qatar ID (QID) is mandatory Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and update project schedules in line with project requirements. Monitor project progress and compare actual performance against planned timelines. Coordinate with project managers, consultants, contractors, and site teams. Identify potential delays, scheduling conflicts, and critical activities. Prepare progress reports, look-ahead schedules, and planning updates. Analyze project delays and recommend corrective actions to maintain project timelines. Track project milestones and ensure timely completion of key activities. Review project schedules, work programs, and progress submissions. Maintain accurate planning records and provide regular updates to management. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline. Relevant experience in project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring. GCC experience with consultancy firms is required. Experience in hospitality and similar building projects. Strong knowledge of project scheduling, progress reporting, and planning procedures. Proficiency in project planning software such as Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project is preferred. Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and coordination skills.
