Role Description The Senior Interior Designer is a full-time, on-site role based in Giza. This role involves leading interior design projects from concept development through detailed design and execution, including space planning, material and finish selection, and coordination of FF&E. The Senior Interior Designer will prepare and review construction drawings, collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors, and ensure design intent is maintained throughout the construction process. Daily responsibilities include meeting with clients to understand needs, developing design presentations and mood boards, overseeing site visits and quality checks, and guiding junior designers to deliver projects on time and within budget. The role also requires staying current with design trends, sustainability practices, and innovative solutions that support SG-innovations’ mission of creating spaces that feel like home. Qualifications Strong proficiency in Interior Design and FF&E, including concept development, material selection, and furniture and décor coordination. Demonstrated experience in Space Planning, ensuring functional, ergonomic, and aesthetically coherent layouts. Solid understanding of Architecture and its integration with interior design for cohesive project outcomes. Ability to produce and review detailed Construction Drawings and documentation for on-site execution. Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, with several years of relevant professional experience. Proficiency in design and visualization software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, 3D rendering tools, Adobe Creative Suite). Strong project management, time management, and coordination skills, with experience leading multidisciplinary teams. Excellent communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to interpret client needs and translate them into practical design solutions.
