Sap Advanced Business Application Programming Developer

Summary: The SAP ABAP & Fiori Developer is responsible for developing, enhancing, and supporting SAP ABAP programs, SAP Fiori applications, OData services, and SAP BTP integrations. The role involves troubleshooting technical issues, implementing business requirements, supporting system integrations, conducting testing, managing transports, and providing ongoing technical support while ensuring adherence to SAP development standards and best practices. Duties and Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and support SAP ABAP programs, SAP Fiori applications, and enhancements as per business requirements. Analyse and resolve ABAP and Fiori application errors, support existing custom developments, and assist with SAP BTP application support. Develop and modify reports, function modules, enhancements and other ABAP objects, OData services and SAP BTP integrations Perform debugging and troubleshoot issues in existing SAP programs. Assist in developing and maintaining interfaces between SAP and external applications. Work with functional teams to understand requirements and implement technical solutions. Perform unit testing and support integration testing and user acceptance testing. Prepare and maintain technical documentation for developments and changes. Support SAP transports and deployment activities across development, quality, and production environments. Follow SAP development standards and ensure changes are properly tested before deployment. Provide technical support for SAP incidents and change requests. Continuously improve ABAP programming skills and knowledge of SAP technologies. Information Security Management System (ISMS) Safeguard Gulftainer’s information as per Information protection requirements. Implement and maintain an Information Security Management System based on the ISO/IEC 27000 series standards, including certification against ISO/IEC 27001 where applicable. Implement and maintain the necessary information security policies, standards, procedures and guidelines, in conjunction with the Information Technology Security Committee. Tech. Good knowledge of SAP ABAP programming and debugging. Experience in developing and maintaining reports, enhancements, function modules, and interfaces (RICEFW). Knowledge of SAP OData services and SAP Fiori/UI5 development. Understanding of SAP tables, Data Dictionary, and Open SQL. Familiarity with SAP integration technologies, RFCs, BAPIs, and IDocs. Understanding of SAP development standards, testing, and transport management. Analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Basic knowledge of HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and JSON.
