Based in Egypt, Eramtec serves a wide range of clients and is focused on building both structures and trust. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Electrical Engineer role based in Cairo. The Electrical Engineer will design, review, and optimize electrical systems for civil, highway, and infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with local codes, safety standards, and project specifications. Daily responsibilities include preparing and updating electrical drawings and calculations, coordinating power distribution and power system layouts, and supporting site teams with technical guidance during construction and installation. The role involves collaborating with civil and structural engineers, contractors, and project managers to resolve technical issues, support tenders and cost estimates, and ensure timely project delivery. The Electrical Engineer will also participate in inspections, testing, and commissioning, preparing reports and documentation to support quality assurance and project handover. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in Electrical Engineering fundamentals, including Electricity and Power Systems. Candidates should possess skills in Electrical Design, with experience creating layouts, schematics, and technical documentation. Candidates should possess skills in Power Distribution, including load calculations, panel schedules, and coordination with site utilities. Relevant bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field. Experience in construction or infrastructure projects, preferably in civil, highway, or large-scale building environments. Knowledge of applicable electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations in Egypt or similar jurisdictions. Proficiency in electrical design software and CAD tools, and familiarity with project management and documentation practices.
