Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior SQL Database Administrator at Khwarizm Consulting in Cairo. The Database Administrator will be responsible for daily tasks such as database administration, replication, database design, troubleshooting, and managing databases effectively. Qualifications ITIL Foundation Certification Requirements: 3 to 5 years of expertise with Windows Server, including server configuration and installation, domain administration, and policy management. Strong comprehension of service account usage. Proficient in Active Directory administration, including establishing and managing Windows Group Policy Objects (GPO) and Group Policy Preferences (GPP). 3 to 5 years of expertise with Linux. Candidates should have experience configuring and operating complicated Linux environments. The candidate should understand storage configuration and troubleshooting. 1-2 years of expertise with DNS and networking on Windows and Linux systems. Experience in managing a large mixed Windows and Linux system, with at least 15+ servers. Excellent troubleshooting skills. Understanding capacity management and planning.
