Mechanical Technical Office Engineer

Responsibilities: Lead and supervise the Mechanical Technical Office team and distribute tasks according to project priorities and deadlines. Review and coordinate mechanical shop drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications, approved designs, and applicable codes. Manage quantity take-offs, BOQs, material submittals, and value engineering activities for mechanical systems. Coordinate with architectural, structural, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and BIM teams to resolve technical issues and design conflicts. Develop and review mechanical BIM models using Revit MEP and ensure proper coordination between BIM models and mechanical shop drawings. Review and coordinate HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and other mechanical systems according to project scope. Prepare and review technical submittals, material schedules, and technical documentation. Monitor technical deliverables, ensure quality standards, and meet project deadlines. Coordinate with site teams to resolve technical queries and ensure smooth execution of mechanical works. Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and support to team members. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. Proficiency in Revit MEP and good knowledge of BIM coordination workflows. Minimum 5 years of experience in Mechanical Technical Office works. Previous experience in team leadership or supervision. Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD, mechanical shop drawings, and quantity surveying. Good knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems. Familiarity with project specifications, technical submittals, and relevant codes and standards.
