Plant Manager

The ideal candidate will have experience managing both a production facility and a team. They should be able to analyze each step of the manufacturing process and make effective use of resources to deliver desired outcomes. The candidate will also have an ability to follow safety and compliance guidelines diligently in order to create a healthy work environment for all employees. Job Description Oversee and manage all manufacturing and maintenance operations, ensuring optimal productivity, operational efficiency, and alignment with the company's strategic objectives. Develop and implement production strategies, policies, and operational plans to achieve production targets and meet business requirements. Lead, manage, and develop manufacturing teams, ensuring effective performance management, workforce planning, training, and discipline. Monitor production performance, analyze KPIs, and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency and minimize operational losses. Manage the plant's annual budget, control operational expenditures, and drive cost-reduction initiatives without compromising product quality. Ensure compliance with quality standards, health and safety regulations, environmental requirements, and established SOPs. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement Lean Manufacturing principles to optimize production processes and resource utilization. Coordinate with internal departments, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operations and resolve production-related challenges. Oversee production capacity planning, equipment utilization, maintenance activities, and long-term operational development. Job Requirements Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline. Experience: Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or industrial operations. Proven leadership experience in managing manufacturing operations, production teams, and maintenance activities. Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and decision-making capabilities. Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Solid knowledge of production planning, operational KPIs, budgeting, and cost optimization.
