Commodity Trader | Riyadh, Saudi Arabia What This Role Is About Our client, a leading food and FMCG group, is looking for a Commodity Trader, based in Riyadh, with solid experience in agricultural commodities and a strong understanding of global commodity markets. The role will focus on monitoring commodity prices, identifying sourcing opportunities, and building relationships with traders, suppliers, and brokers. You will analyse global market developments and supply-demand trends to provide insights that support procurement decisions, cost management, and business strategy. This is an opportunity for an ambitious commodity trader to work closely with senior leadership and contribute to key commercial decisions within a growing food and FMCG business. The Client’s Definition of the Ideal Fit 5–10 years of hands-on experience in agricultural commodity trading An MBA is mandatory, alongside a degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline Must be willing to relocate and travel across the MEA region Fluency in English and Hindi is mandatory Solid knowledge of agricultural commodities, particularly edible oils, grains, dairy commodities, or animal feed Established relationships with commodity traders, brokers, suppliers, and market participants Strong understanding of commodity pricing, global supply and demand, and market forecasting Excellent analytical skills, commercial judgement, and financial modelling capabilities Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI knowledge is an advantage This is an opportunity to work closely with senior leadership, apply commodity market expertise, and contribute to strategic sourcing and business decisions across the region.
