Role Description The Electrician role is a full-time, on-site position based in the United Arab Emirates. The Electrician will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with technical drawings, safety standards, and local regulations. Day-to-day tasks include wiring, connecting circuits, testing electrical components, diagnosing faults, and performing troubleshooting and preventive maintenance. The Electrician will work closely with supervisors and other trades to coordinate work schedules, ensure timely completion of projects, and maintain accurate records of all work performed. The role also requires strict adherence to health and safety procedures and the proper use of tools, materials, and personal protective equipment. Qualifications Strong practical skills in Electricity and Electrical Work, including wiring, installations, and safe handling of electrical components. Experience with Maintenance & Repair of electrical systems and equipment, including routine inspections and preventive servicing. Ability to perform effective Troubleshooting to identify, diagnose, and resolve electrical faults and system issues. Foundational knowledge of Electrical Engineering principles relevant to on-site installations and system performance. Relevant technical diploma, trade certificate, or vocational training in electrical work; local licensing or certification is an advantage. Familiarity with UAE electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations, with a strong focus on safe work practices. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics, and use standard electrical tools and testing equipment.
