Site Manager (Substations)

Key Responsibilities Manage all electrical construction activities for HV/EHV substation projects. Supervise site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and installation teams. Ensure compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications, SEC standards, and project requirements. Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions when required. Coordinate with civil, testing & commissioning, and project management teams. Ensure adherence to HSE and quality standards across all site activities. Review material requirements, work schedules, and manpower allocation. Attend meetings with clients, consultants, and stakeholders. Support testing, commissioning, energization, and project handover activities. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering. 10+ years of experience in HV/EHV Substation projects. Strong experience in installation of AIS/GIS substations (132kV, 230kV, 380kV and above). Good knowledge of power transformers, GIS/AIS equipment, protection systems, cables, and switchgear. Experience managing site teams and subcontractors. Familiarity with SEC standards and regulations is preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications SEC Approved. PMP, OSHA, NEBOSH, or equivalent certifications are an advantage. Show more Show less
