Travel Consultant – Golf Travel & Experiences

Join Viya Golf and help create exceptional golf and leisure travel experiences for our members and guests. We are looking for a commercially driven and customer-focused Travel Consultant to manage bespoke golf holidays, luxury travel arrangements, accommodation, transportation, dining experiences, and curated group trips. This role will be responsible for guiding members through the entire travel journey, from initial enquiry through booking, travel execution, and post-trip follow-up. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving travel revenue, maximizing booking conversions, building long-term member relationships, and maintaining strong partnerships with golf clubs, hotels, resorts, tour operators, DMCs, and luxury travel providers globally. Key Responsibilities Commercial Coordinate and sell bespoke golf and leisure travel arrangements, including tee times, accommodation, transfers, transportation, and activities. Prepare accurate quotations, itineraries, proposals, and booking confirmations tailored to member preferences. Proactively follow up on enquiries and proposals to improve conversion and achieve revenue objectives. Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities across premium accommodation, golf, dining, and leisure services. Support the development, promotion, and sale of pre-curated group trips and bespoke itineraries. Build long-term member relationships to generate repeat business, referrals, and retention. Develop relationships with international golf clubs, resorts, hotels, tour operators, DMCs, and travel partners. Work with approved suppliers to develop attractive packages and secure competitive rates and member benefits. Maintain knowledge of golf destinations, travel trends, and competitor offerings. Operational Act as the primary point of contact for members from initial enquiry to post-trip follow-up. Coordinate all travel components with approved third-party suppliers and verify confirmations, timings, and itinerary details. Manage reservations accurately through approved booking and CRM systems. Handle special requests, amendments, cancellations, disruptions, and complaints professionally. Support premium and VIP member requests, including bespoke arrangements and selected lifestyle concierge services. Conduct pre-departure checks and post-travel follow-ups to assess satisfaction and encourage repeat bookings. Provide members with accurate confirmations, travel documents, booking terms, cancellation conditions, and pre-departure information. Coordinate closely with Marketing, Golf Operations, Membership, Finance, and Concierge teams. Maintain accurate member profiles, supplier correspondence, booking records, and travel preferences. Ensure compliance with company policies, approved supplier agreements, and applicable travel regulations. Financial Contribute to individual and departmental travel revenue targets. Support supplier negotiations on rates, commissions, and commercial terms. Monitor booking profitability, supplier costs, commissions, and margins. Coordinate deposits, payments, refunds, and supplier invoices with Finance. Maintain accurate payment and booking records and assist with reconciliations. Prepare reports on enquiries, bookings, revenue, conversion rates, average booking value, golf rounds, and member satisfaction. Recommend initiatives to improve sales conversion, profitability, and service performance. What We're Looking For Experience in travel consultancy, luxury travel, golf tourism, hospitality, concierge, or related industries. Strong sales, relationship management, and customer service skills. Experience creating quotations, itineraries, and travel proposals. Ability to manage multiple bookings and complex itineraries simultaneously. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
