Food and Beverage Cashier

Job Overview We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and trustworthy Cashier to join our restaurants and nightlife group. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in high-volume restaurant operations, bars, lounges, and nightlife venues, with a strong understanding of cash handling, POS systems, daily sales reconciliation, and financial reporting. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily cash transactions across multiple outlets, ensuring accurate revenue reporting, maintaining proper financial controls, and supporting smooth financial operations, particularly during busy evening and late-night shifts. Key Responsibilities Manage and oversee daily cash transactions across multiple restaurants, bars, lounges, and nightlife outlets. Handle cash collections, credit card transactions, online payments, and other payment methods accurately. Monitor and reconcile daily sales reports against POS transactions and actual cash collections. Prepare daily cash closing reports and ensure timely submission to the Finance Department. Verify cash floats, petty cash, cash drops, and end-of-shift balances. Monitor voids, discounts, refunds, complimentary items, and bill adjustments, ensuring proper authorization. Coordinate with restaurant managers, outlet supervisors, and night operations teams to ensure accurate financial reporting. Conduct regular cash audits and identify discrepancies, reporting any irregularities immediately. Ensure all financial transactions comply with company policies and internal control procedures. Maintain accurate records of cash movements, deposits, and supporting documentation. Support month-end closing procedures and financial reporting when required. Ensure proper handover of cash, reports, and financial documents between shifts and departments. Requirements & Qualifications Previous experience as a Cashier, Senior Cashier, or Group Cashier within the hospitality industry. Experience working in restaurants, bars, nightclubs, lounges, or high-volume nightlife operations is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of POS systems and payment processing platforms. Excellent cash handling, reconciliation, and numerical skills. Good understanding of daily sales reports, revenue controls, and financial procedures. Ability to manage multiple outlets and handle high transaction volumes. Strong attention to detail, honesty, and a high level of accountability. Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, public holidays, and late-night operations. Good communication and coordination skills.
