SAP Application Manager

Part-Time SAP Application Manager (SAP Business One) | Contract Cairo Roads is looking for a part-time SAP Application Manager to own our hosted SAP Business One system and lead the technical side of our AI integration project with AI application . About the role You will be our internal owner of SAP B1: the person who guides vendors, protects our data, and makes sure the AI integration is secure, useful, and well documented. Responsibilities - Own day-to-day management of SAP B1: users, roles, authorizations, configuration, and reports - Act as the main technical contact for the AI integration consultancy, our hosting provider, and our SAP partner - Set up and control a dedicated, read-only B1 user for the integration - Confirm Service Layer access, network security (VPN / IP whitelisting), and SAP licensing for API use - Review the integration design, test on a sandbox database, and approve go-live - Make sure any write action is limited to drafts with human approval, and that all AI calls are logged - Keep documentation and credentials organized and held inside the company - Gather feedback from business users and recommend next steps after the pilot Requirements - Proven experience of Accounting - Proven experience managing SAP Business One (HANA or SQL Server), ideally in hosted environments - Working knowledge of the Service Layer and B1 authorizations - Experience managing vendors or consultants on ERP projects - Good understanding of data security, backups, and change control - Clear communication with senior management and non-technical teams Nice to have - Experience with a similar projects - Previous Experience with a SAP B1 project Implementation - Experience with API integrations or AI/LLM projects Commitment: 2 per week Duration: 3-6 months, with option to extend Location: Heliopolis , Cairo To apply: send your your CV , 2 relevant B1 or ERP project examples Show more Show less
