Project Management Team Leader

Position Overview As a Team Leader Project Management you will oversee the day-to-day execution of projects, leading a team of individual contributors to deliver high-quality outputs that meet client specifications and quality standards. You coordinate workflow, assign tasks, provide technical guidance, and ensure team productivity while maintaining quality benchmarks. You serve as the first line of escalation for your team and contribute to process improvements. You manage the performance, drive engagement and foster development of your team. Key Responsibilities ● Assign tasks to team members based on skills and capacity, monitor work-in-progress, track productivity metrics, and ensure timely completion of deliverables ● Review team outputs for accuracy and adherence to guidelines, provide feedback and corrections, conduct spot checks and audits, and maintain quality metrics above target thresholds ● Track individual and team KPIs, identify performance trends and bottlenecks, implement corrective actions, and report metrics to management ● Serve as technical resource for complex project questions, clarify ambiguous cases, and maintain consistency across the team ● Lead and develop a high-performing, highly engaged team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship Core Competencies ● Giving support, focusing on customers, embracing technology, managing self-development Leadership Competencies ● Providing leadership, leading change, building effective teams, managing stakeholders Functional Competencies ● Working understanding of data annotation, machine learning concepts, and project workflows to guide team execution ● Working knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques to plan tasks, track milestones, and manage project timelines and dependencies ● Ability to manage daily workflows, assign and prioritize tasks, monitor work-in-progress, and ensure timely completion of deliverables ● Ability to manage projects/ multiple projects with a budget from $5-7M in the areas of data annotation, localization, natural language processing ● General budget management expertise ● Ability to identify troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day technical and operational problems Qualifications ● 3+ years of work experience in project management focused on artificial intelligence/ machine learning industry ● Bachelor's degree in Business, Management of Information Systems, Data Science, Computer Science or similar field ● B2+ oral and written English Show more Show less
