Role Description The Senior Supervisor – Applications (.NET & AI Tools) is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, Egypt. The person in this role oversees the design, development, and maintenance of .NET applications and AI-based tools that support Xceed’s business operations and client services. Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising development teams, reviewing technical designs, managing project timelines and deliverables, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of distributed systems. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, translating business needs into technical solutions, and enforcing best practices in coding standards, testing, and documentation. The Senior Supervisor also mentors team members, supports continuous improvement, and contributes to technology roadmap and innovation initiatives. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in Software Development using .NET and related technologies, with experience in integrating AI tools and services. Candidates should possess solid Software Design skills, including designing scalable architectures, APIs, and enterprise applications. Candidates should possess demonstrated Team Leadership capabilities, including mentoring, performance management, and cross-functional collaboration. Candidates should possess effective Project Management skills, including planning, prioritization, risk management, and stakeholder communication. Candidates should possess knowledge of Distributed Systems, including high-availability, fault tolerance, and performance optimization concepts. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. Approximately 7+ years of experience in application development or software engineering, with at least several years in a supervisory or lead role. Experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL), version control (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms is beneficial. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues in production environments.
