Procurement Engineer – Interior Fit-Out

we are seeking an experienced Procurement Engineer to manage material purchasing, supplier coordination, sourcing, and logistics for interior fit-out projects. Key Responsibilities Manage procurement and purchasing of interior fit-out materials, joinery, furniture, aluminum, and finishing products. Source and evaluate local and international suppliers. Obtain quotations, negotiate prices, and issue purchase orders. Review BOQs, drawings, and material specifications to ensure technical compliance. Coordinate with Quantity Surveyors, Designers, and Project Managers. Identify new materials, alternative products, and cost-saving opportunities. Follow up on manufacturing, shipments, customs clearance, and deliveries. Maintain supplier databases, procurement records, and purchasing reports. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. 3–5 years of procurement experience in interior fit-out, construction, or joinery. Strong knowledge of interior finishing materials and suppliers. Ability to read drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications. Excellent negotiation, sourcing, and supplier management skills. Experience in international purchasing and logistics. Good command of Microsoft Excel. Qatar market experience and local supplier network preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills.
