H2S Safety Technician

About the job: Position: Safety Technician Location: Jubail, Saudi Arabia Job Duties & Responsibilities: • Responsible for maintaining a safe environment for oil & gas sites against H2S. Responsible for advising on safer practices when dealing with H2S and general safety. • Installs, inspects, repairs, and tests SCPAs, Cascade System, Gas Monitoring Systems, and other monitoring devices. • Conducts detailed visual inspections and system functional tests of various systems and equipment for the purpose of reporting any deficiencies and corrective action as well as recommendations to customer. • Performs receipt, inspection, cleaning, servicing, reassembling, and testing of various SCBA (Self Contained Breathing Apparatus) and other respiratory equipment and breathing air equipment in accordance with approved testing and service procedures. • Takes care in use of all sites specific, facility and customer required Personal Protection Equipment (PPE). • Any other tasks/duties as assigned by Supervisor or line manager Qualifications & Skills: • Must have good English language. • Must be self-directed individual capable of working with minimal supervision • Must have at least 1 year of experience in the upstream Oil & Gas industry • Have no issue to work in remote areas for extended period. • WAP or experience in SAWCOD is preferred Show more Show less
