Role Description The Telemarketing Specialist role at SoftTrend is a full-time, on-site position based in Cairo, Egypt. In this role, the specialist will make outbound calls to potential and existing clients to introduce SoftTrend’s software licensing and IT services, qualify opportunities, and generate leads for the sales team. Daily activities include explaining product and service features, answering basic inquiries, and recording accurate information in the CRM system. The specialist will follow up on leads, maintain call logs, and support sales campaigns by scheduling meetings or demos. Collaboration with sales and customer service teams is expected to ensure a smooth transition from initial contact to ongoing client support, while meeting individual and team performance targets. Qualifications Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to speak clearly, listen actively, and convey information confidently. Customer-facing skills, including Customer Service and Customer Support abilities to handle inquiries, respond to concerns, and build rapport. Sales-oriented skills, such as Lead Generation and Sales capabilities to identify prospects, qualify opportunities, and contribute to revenue growth. Basic understanding of IT or software solutions, with an interest in technology and a willingness to learn product and service details. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; prior telemarketing or call center experience is an advantage but not required. Ability to work on-site in Cairo, Egypt, manage time effectively, and meet call and performance targets.
