Mechanical Technical Office Engineer | Jadeer Engineering | New Cairo At Jadeer, paperwork never holds up the site. We're looking for a hands-on Mechanical Technical Office Engineer, a true generalist across HVAC, Firefighting, and Plumbing & Drainage, who turns IFC designs into shop drawings the site can build from with confidence. We're hiring for fit, not volume. Please read the must-haves carefully before applying. What you'll own Shop & coordination drawings – Prepare mechanical shop drawings and combined-services coordination drawings in AutoCAD from IFC documents across HVAC, firefighting, and plumbing/drainage. Clash resolution – Work with civil, architectural, and electrical technical office counterparts to resolve clashes before anything is issued to site. RFIs & revisions – Draft RFIs for design conflicts or missing information, incorporate consultant comments, and keep revision control tight. Submittals – Review material submittals and technical datasheets against project specifications. Document control – Keep drawing registers and submittal logs complete and accurate. Quantities – Prepare mechanical quantity take-offs to support procurement and cost control. Site support – Answer site queries fast, confirm material need dates, and support as-built drawings and closeout. How success is measured Drawings delivered ahead of site need dates Fast RFI turnaround Clashes resolved before issue to site High first-submission approval rate with consultants Must-haves (non-negotiable) B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering (Power) and Egyptian Engineers Syndicate membership 5–7 years in a mechanical technical office on building projects Your most recent 3+ years with a contractor (MEP or General Contractor) on live projects Generalist experience across HVAC, Firefighting, and Plumbing/Drainage, not one specialty Expert AutoCAD with strong hands-on shop-drawing and coordination-drawing skills Good English and disciplined documentation habits Nice to have: Revit MEP, digital coordination, drawing-log automation. Consultant-only or design-office-only profiles will not be considered.
