We are seeking an experienced HSE Officer to support an ongoing multi-discipline maintenance and modification project at Abu Dhabi. The assignment will primarily involve monitoring health, safety and environmental compliance during welding, piping and other industrial site activities.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor daily site activities to ensure compliance with project HSE standards and procedures.
Conduct routine safety inspections and identify potential workplace hazards.
Ensure safe execution of welding, piping and hot work activities.
Monitor Permit to Work (PTW), Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Risk Assessment compliance.
Conduct toolbox talks and promote workplace safety awareness.
Report unsafe conditions, incidents and near misses.
Maintain HSE records, inspection reports and safety documentation.
Coordinate with site supervisors and project teams to implement corrective actions.
Requirements
3–5 years of HSE experience in industrial projects.
Experience in welding, piping and industrial maintenance activities preferred.
Knowledge of PTW systems, JSA, risk assessments and site safety procedures.
NEBOSH / IOSH certification preferred.
Experience in power plants or nuclear facilities will be an advantage.
Good communication, reporting and documentation skills.
Valid UAE / Abu Dhabi visa is mandatory.
Candidates must be available for immediate mobilisation.
