Welder | فني لحام Location: Dammam, Saudi Arabia Employment Type: Full-Time Nationality: Saudi Nationals Only About the Opportunity We are recruiting experienced Welders to join the maintenance and fabrication operations of a well-established and growing Saudi organisation with a strong presence across construction, industrial services, heavy equipment and infrastructure projects. The successful candidates will be responsible for carrying out welding, cutting and metal fabrication activities while maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Perform MIG, TIG and/or SMAW (Stick) welding on carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminium components. Carry out metal fabrication activities, including cutting, grinding, fitting, tack welding and assembly. Read and interpret basic engineering drawings, welding specifications and work instructions. Prepare welding surfaces, joints, materials and equipment before starting work. Inspect completed welds for defects and carry out necessary corrections to meet quality standards. Safely operate welding machines, cutting equipment, grinders and associated hand tools. Support Senior Welders and Fabrication Supervisors in completing assigned workshop and fabrication activities. Follow preventive equipment checks and report any defects or unsafe conditions. Maintain compliance with HSE requirements, including PPE, hot work permits and fire safety procedures. Complete assigned work orders and maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment. Requirements – Must Have Saudi nationality – mandatory. Minimum 2–4 years of hands-on welding and metal fabrication experience. Minimum secondary school/high school qualification. Practical experience in at least one of the following welding processes: MIG Welding TIG Welding SMAW / Stick Welding Ability to perform basic cutting, grinding, fitting and metal assembly work. Ability to understand basic engineering drawings, measurements and welding specifications. Familiarity with welding equipment, tools and safe operating procedures. Good understanding of welding safety, PPE requirements and hot work procedures. Willingness to work in a workshop and industrial maintenance environment in Dammam. Preferred Qualifications Technical or vocational certificate/diploma in Welding Technology, Metal Fabrication or a related trade. Previous experience within heavy equipment maintenance, industrial workshops, construction or fabrication environments. Experience working with different metals and welding processes. Why Join?
