About CTX CTX builds the CTX Corporate Booking Platform, an enterprise travel management platform used by large organisations and government entities across the region. It covers the full corporate travel lifecycle: travel requests, policy and approval workflows, flight and hotel booking, payments and post-trip reconciliation. The platform is deeply integrated with clients' HR and ERP systems, so reliability and data accuracy matter in every release. About the Role We are looking for a Quality Control Engineer to make sure every release of our platform works as our clients expect. You will test web applications, APIs and enterprise integrations end to end, catch issues before they reach production, and help us move more of our regression testing into automation. Department: Engineering (Quality Assurance) · Level: Mid-level · Experience: 3+ years · Full-time, fully remote · Monday–Friday Key Responsibilities Functional & Release Testing Design and execute test cases from requirements and acceptance criteria. Perform functional, integration, regression, smoke and end-to-end testing across the platform. Test business-critical travel flows such as travel policy rules, multi-level approvals, flight and hotel booking, cancellations and changes. Run exploratory testing to find edge cases, for example unusual itineraries, policy exceptions or role-based access. Execute release validation and post-deployment checks across development, staging and production. Support client User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing test data, reproducing reported issues and verifying fixes. API, Data & Integration Testing Test RESTful APIs with Postman or similar tools, covering payloads, authentication, error handling and business logic. Validate data with SQL queries in PostgreSQL or MySQL to confirm consistency and correctness. Test integrations with client systems such as Oracle Fusion and Oracle Integration Cloud, for example employee data sync and trip or expense records. Identify integration failures and data mismatches, and work with backend engineers to reproduce and resolve them. Defect Management & Improvement Log, track and verify defects in Jira with clear steps, evidence and impact. Maintain test plans, test cases and regression suites. Contribute to automated UI and API tests and help integrate them into CI/CD pipelines. Apply risk-based testing to focus effort on the most critical client workflows. Report testing progress and release risks clearly to support go/no-go decisions. Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience in software QA, quality control or testing. Strong manual testing experience on web applications and backend systems. Solid knowledge of testing methodologies, test levels and the STLC. Hands-on API testing with Postman or similar tools. Good understanding of REST APIs, HTTP methods, status codes, JSON and authentication. Working SQL knowledge for validating data in PostgreSQL or MySQL. Experience logging and tracking defects in Jira or a similar tool. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and the SDLC. Ability to turn business requirements into effective test scenarios. Strong attention to detail and clear written and spoken English communication. Nice to Have Test automation with Playwright, Cypress or Selenium. API test automation with Postman/Newman or similar. Scripting in JavaScript, Python or PHP. Experience testing travel booking systems, ERP integrations (Oracle Fusion) or enterprise SaaS. Experience supporting client UAT cycles. Performance testing with JMeter or k6. Basic knowledge of security testing and common web vulnerabilities. ISTQB certification or equivalent.
