Chief Accountant

𝐉𝐨𝐛 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: * Oversee and manage all accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with financial regulations. * Supervise the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports. * Manage all accounting activities related to real estate development projects, including project costs, revenues, expenses, and profitability. * Oversee real estate revenue recognition, customer installment collections, receivables, and payment schedules. * Manage general ledger activities, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and month-end closing procedures. * Monitor cash flow, financial forecasts, and funding requirements across multiple real estate projects. * Develop and implement effective internal controls, accounting policies, and financial procedures. * Prepare financial analyses and performance reports to support senior management in strategic decision-making. * Lead, supervise, and develop the accounting team to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. * Collaborate with Finance, Sales, and Project Management departments to ensure accurate financial tracking and reporting. 𝐉𝐨𝐛 𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬: * Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. * 12–15 years of progressive accounting experience, with a strong background in the Real Estate Development sector. * Must hold a CMA (Certified Management Accountant) certification. * Strong knowledge of real estate accounting, project costing, revenue recognition, and financial reporting. * Extensive experience in budgeting, financial forecasting, cash flow management, and cost control. * Strong experience in preparing and reviewing financial statements and management reports. * Proficiency in ERP accounting systems and Advanced Microsoft Excel. * Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and financial management skills. * Strong leadership skills with proven experience in managing accounting teams.
