Senior AI Automation Engineer (m/f/d)

Build AI That Actually Runs the Business We're looking for a Senior AI / Automation Engineer to help build the next generation of AI-powered enterprise platforms. This is not a chatbot-only position. You'll be solving complex real-world business problems using AI, automation, and modern software engineering practices. The ideal candidate combines deep software engineering expertise with practical experience building and deploying AI solutions that operate reliably in production environments. You'll work at the intersection of AI, workflow automation, enterprise systems, and product engineering to create solutions that deliver measurable impact at scale. What You'll Do Build and deploy production-grade AI and automation solutions Design agentic workflows capable of interacting with enterprise systems Develop document understanding, classification, extraction, and reasoning capabilities Integrate AI services with large-scale enterprise applications Design evaluation, monitoring, and governance frameworks for AI systems Build robust fallback mechanisms and human-in-the-loop workflows Partner with engineering, product, and business teams to solve complex operational challenges Drive best practices across AI architecture, security, scalability, and performance What We're Looking For 6+ years of software engineering experience Strong Python development skills Experience delivering production AI applications Expertise in LLMs, RAG, embeddings, agentic systems, and tool-calling architectures Strong experience building APIs and distributed systems Understanding of observability, testing, monitoring, and operational excellence Experience taking AI solutions from concept through enterprise deployment Nice to Have LangGraph, LangChain, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen or similar frameworks Multi-agent systems OCR and document intelligence platforms Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock or Vertex AI Experience in regulated or enterprise-scale environments What Makes This Opportunity Different You'll help define how AI is deployed responsibly and effectively within mission-critical business processes, working on challenges that extend far beyond simple chatbot implementations.
