Role Description The Finishing Carpenter will be responsible for installing, fitting, and detailing interior and exterior finishes such as trim, moldings, doors, cabinetry, and other custom woodwork. Day-to-day tasks include reading and interpreting drawings, measuring and cutting materials, using hand and power tools to achieve accurate fits, and ensuring all visible surfaces are aligned, smooth, and clean. The role also involves collaborating with designers and other trades, maintaining a safe and organized work area, and inspecting completed work for quality and consistency. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Umm Al Quwain. Qualifications Strong skills in Finish Carpentry with a focus on trim work, detailed joinery, and high-quality final installation. Practical Carpentry experience, including framing and general wood construction for residential and commercial projects. Proficient use of Hand Tools such as chisels, planes, saws, and measuring devices for precise and detailed work. Proficient use of Power Tools including drills, saws, sanders, and nail guns, with attention to safety and tool maintenance. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, measurements, and specifications. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commitment to quality craftsmanship. Experience working on-site with other trades and the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Prior experience as a finishing or trim carpenter; vocational training or certification in carpentry is an advantage. Physical ability to stand, lift, bend, and work with tools and materials throughout the workday. Awareness of workplace safety practices and willingness to follow company safety guidelines.
