The location offers opportunities to gain experience in a dynamic, customer-centric setting. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Waiter role based at Sherlock's Pub in Al Barsha, Dubai. The Waiter is responsible for greeting guests, presenting menus, taking food and beverage orders, and serving items accurately and promptly. Daily tasks include setting up and clearing tables, ensuring cleanliness in the dining and bar areas, and assisting with food running and bar service as required. The role involves handling guest inquiries, recommending menu items, processing payments, and following cash-handling and billing procedures. The Waiter works closely with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service, adheres to health and safety standards, and supports overall guest satisfaction and repeat business. Qualifications Strong customer service skills, with the ability to engage guests in a friendly and professional manner. Experience or familiarity with food & beverage and food service operations in a pub, bar, or restaurant environment. Clear and confident communication skills for interacting with guests and team members. Basic understanding of cooking or kitchen operations to coordinate effectively with back-of-house staff. Previous experience as a waiter, server, or similar front-of-house role is preferred. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Knowledge of basic POS systems and cash-handling procedures is an advantage. Fluency in English; additional languages commonly spoken in Dubai are a plus.
