Site Services Technician

Key Job Responsibilities: Switchgear & Control Gear Installation, Maintenance & Servicing. Execute end-to-end installation, inspection, routine maintenance, and servicing of Low Voltage (LV) and Medium Voltage (MV) switchgear and control gear assemblies. Power Transformer Maintenance, Inspection & Oil-Related Operations. Perform comprehensive electrical and mechanical maintenance, routine inspection, oil-related activities, and technical troubleshooting on power transformers. Electrical Testing & Commissioning Support. Conduct functional checks, mechanical operation tests, contact resistance, insulation resistance, and associated electrical testing to support testing and commissioning activities. Defect Identification, Troubleshooting & Technical Reporting. Systematically diagnose equipment defects, troubleshoot electrical/mechanical issues, and document and report technical findings to ensure equipment reliability. Compliance with Procedures, Standards & Site HSE Regulations. Adhere strictly to approved operating procedures, manufacturer recommendations, and site Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements throughout all tasks. Competencies: Ability to read electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation. Professional Skills: Knowledge of electrical testing equipment, maintenance procedures, and safe working practices. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in Proven hands-on site experience with LV/MV switchgear, control gear, and/or power transformers. of electrical substations, Preferable in Saudi Arabia. Experience in installation, testing, commissioning, or maintenance is an advantage. Qualifications: Technical diploma or relevant qualification in Electrical. Show more Show less
