Project Manager

Main Responsibilities: • Support the development and continuous enhancement of project management policies, methodologies, governance frameworks, procedures, and templates. • Lead projects through the full project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and control, and closure, ensuring delivery within approved scope, budget, schedule, and quality requirements. • Develop and maintain project charters, project management plans, schedules, budgets, baselines, status reports, and project closure documentation. • Monitor projects that are not led by PMC across the bank and provide guidance to ensure adherence to approved project management standards, methodologies, policies, procedures, and templates. • Manage project scope, schedule, budget, resources, and quality, and oversee change requests through the established governance process. • Facilitate project meetings, workshops, and steering committees, ensuring timely documentation of decisions, actions, and outcomes. • Manage external vendors and service providers throughout the procurement, contracting, implementation, service delivery, and project closure phases and ensure adherence to agreed upon SLAs. • Monitor project financial performance, including budget utilization, ROI and benefits realization. • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring effective communication, engagement, and executive reporting. • Identify, assess, and proactively manage project risks, issues, resources, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle. • Maintain and continuously update project management logs, including risks, issues, stakeholders, and change requests, ensuring accuracy, visibility, and timely escalation of critical matters. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive effective project execution, resolve challenges and achieve targeted outcomes. • Track project performance using defined KPIs and metrics and provide timely, accurate, and insight-driven status reporting to senior management and key stakeholders. • Provide project governance, oversight, and reporting to senior and executive management to support informed decision-making. • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, project governance standards, regulatory requirements, and quality management practices. • Provide coaching, mentoring, and advisory support to project teams and stakeholders on project management best practices. • Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management practices and tools across the bank to enhance efficiency and in alignment with the best practices. Experience & Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology, Management, or a related field. • Valid Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification. • Minimum of three (3) years of project management experience. • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid delivery approaches. • Solid knowledge of project management frameworks, governance practices, tools, and industry best practices. • Experience managing technology, digital transformation, or business transformation projects is highly preferred. • Proficiency in project reporting and data visualization tools; experience with Power BI and dashboard development is an advantage. • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, stakeholders, and vendors in a fast-paced environment. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Arabic and English are preferred. • Prior experience in managing projects within the banking sector is highly preferred.
