AI Proxy Product Owner

About the role: We are looking for an AI Proxy Product Owner, based in Egypt, to act as the operational counterpart to the Global Head of Platform across the entire project. You will work with developers, engineering leads and stakeholders across all teams and locations to translate product priorities into clear, valuable and predictable delivery. Your role is to ensure that developers understand both what they are building and why it matters, that backlogs reflect agreed priorities, and that progress, risks and decisions are visible across the project. You will take ownership of day-to-day product coordination and delivery follow-up across workstreams. Key responsibilities Cross-team coordination and delivery ownership • Act as the primary operational product contact across all teams, regardless of location. • Coordinate day-to-day product execution across workstreams, ensuring alignment with shared platform priorities. • Work with engineering leads to establish realistic sprint goals and delivery forecasts. • Maintain a consolidated view of progress against the roadmap, identifying slippage early and proposing corrective actions. • Make capacity constraints, unplanned work and competing commitments visible across teams. • Manage cross-team dependencies and handoffs, ensuring clear ownership and agreed timelines. AI Proxy Product Owner • Proactively resolve blockers and escalate issues with a clear explanation of their impact, available options and recommended action. • Ensure decisions and changes are communicated consistently to all affected teams and followed through. Scope and decision-making The role is based in Egypt and has a project-wide remit covering all teams and workstreams.
