Role Description: Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python and Django. Build and extend platform plugins and integrations. Develop and consume RESTful APIs. Optimize PostgreSQL databases and write efficient queries. Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code. Collaborate with cross-functional teams through code reviews and Git workflows. Participate in CI/CD, deployment, and troubleshooting activities. Contribute to architectural decisions and technical improvements. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 4+ years of professional Python development experience 2+ years of hands-on Django experience in production Strong knowledge of Python 3.10+, Django, PostgreSQL, REST APIs, Docker, Git, and automated testing (Pytest/Django TestCase) Experience building or extending applications with a plugin/extension architecture Experience integrating third-party APIs (payment gateways, loyalty platforms, etc.) Solid understanding of database design and query optimization Nice to have: Celery, Redis, RabbitMQ, Jenkins, Linux/Bash Basic JavaScript/Vue.js Arabic RTL localization experience Background in e-commerce, ticketing, or payment integrations Familiarity with OWASP security best practices Show more Show less
