Grid Operations Engineer/Powerr Distribution Specialist

Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Grid Operations Engineer / Power Distribution Specialist to oversee electrical grid operations, power distribution networks, and system maintenance. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in power systems, electrical network management, fault diagnosis, and grid reliability to ensure safe, stable, and efficient electricity distribution. Key Responsibilities Monitor and manage daily electrical grid and power distribution operations. Oversee substations, transformers, switchgear, and distribution equipment. Coordinate preventive maintenance, inspections, testing, and repair activities. Monitor network performance, load demand, voltage levels, and power quality. Identify and troubleshoot electrical faults, outages, and network abnormalities. Coordinate with technical teams and contractors to resolve operational issues. Manage planned maintenance, emergency power interruptions, and restoration activities. Monitor grid performance, system reliability, and operational KPIs. Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, grid codes, and regulatory requirements. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in power distribution, grid operations, or electrical maintenance. Strong knowledge of electrical networks, substations, transformers, and protection systems. Familiarity with SCADA, power system monitoring, and fault diagnosis. Understanding of electrical safety, power quality, and load management. Strong analytical, technical troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management abilities.
