We’re Hiring | Architect 📍 Location: Amman, Jordan 🏢 Company: PODIUM Architects 💼 Position: Architect 📌 Experience Required: 4–5 Years PODIUM Architects is seeking a talented, creative, and detail-oriented Architect to join our design team in Amman, Jordan. We are looking for a motivated professional with strong architectural design capabilities, advanced technical knowledge, and the ability to contribute effectively across various project stages, from initial concept development to detailed design, construction documentation, and permit submissions. The ideal candidate should demonstrate excellent design sensibility, technical accuracy, strong coordination skills, and the ability to independently manage architectural tasks while contributing to interior design projects when required. Key Responsibilities Develop innovative architectural concepts, design proposals, and creative solutions for various project types. Prepare and review comprehensive 2D architectural drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, detailed drawings, and construction documentation. Develop high-quality 3D models, architectural visualizations, renderings, and professional design presentations. Manage assigned design tasks through concept design, schematic design, detailed design, and construction documentation stages. Translate architectural concepts into coordinated, accurate, and technically developed design packages. Prepare and coordinate architectural permit drawings and submission packages in accordance with applicable Jordan Engineers Association (JEA) requirements, local building regulations, and municipality requirements. Coordinate architectural designs with structural, MEP, interior design, and other engineering disciplines. Contribute to interior design tasks when required, including space planning, furniture layouts, material selections, 3D visualization, and detailed interior drawings. Review architectural materials, finishes, construction details, and technical specifications to ensure design consistency and quality. Identify and resolve architectural design and technical coordination issues throughout project development. Incorporate client feedback, design revisions, and technical comments accurately and efficiently. Participate in internal design reviews, multidisciplinary coordination meetings, and client presentations. Support the preparation of architectural submissions, project proposals, and design competitions. Provide technical guidance and support to junior architects when required. Ensure all project deliverables meet established design standards, applicable regulations, technical requirements, quality expectations, and project deadlines. Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering. 4–5 years of professional experience in architectural design and project development. Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp, with strong expertise in producing accurate technical drawings and high-quality 3D models. Strong proficiency in Enscape for architectural visualization and rendering. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Strong knowledge of Jordan Engineers Association (JEA) regulations, applicable Jordanian building codes, and municipality requirements for architectural permit drawings and approvals. Practical experience in preparing and coordinating architectural permit drawings and documentation for submission to relevant authorities. Strong understanding of architectural design development, construction drawings, technical detailing, and project documentation. Solid knowledge of architectural materials, building systems, construction methods, and multidisciplinary coordination. Familiarity with interior design development, materials, finishes, and detailing is an advantage. Excellent architectural design sensibility, conceptual thinking, and creative problem-solving skills. Strong architectural presentation and graphic communication capabilities. Ability to independently develop, coordinate, and manage assigned architectural design tasks. Excellent communication, organizational, collaboration, and teamwork skills. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities, prioritize tasks, and consistently meet project deadlines. Strong attention to detail, functionality, technical accuracy, and architectural quality.
