On-Demand/Part time IT Support Specialist

About the Role Regolith is looking for an IT Support Specialist to perform technical tasks on company devices based on client requirements. This is an on-demand, part-time opportunity suited for individuals with hands-on IT experience, particularly in operating system installation, device formatting, memory wiping, and unlocking. The role is primarily home-based, with occasional in-person equipment collection or handover coordinated with the Logistics Support Associate (LSA). Key Responsibilities Install and upgrade operating systems on company devices. Perform device memory wiping and formatting as required. Unlock devices when authorized and instructed. Carry out other IT tasks assigned by Regolith or its clients. Coordinate with the LSA regarding equipment collection and handover. Follow the technical instructions provided for each assignment. What We're Looking For Practical experience in IT support, computer maintenance, or a related technical field. Experience installing and upgrading operating systems. Familiarity with device formatting, memory wiping, and unlocking procedures. Experience with macOS and Apple Mac computers is REQUIRED. Familiarity with Microsoft Windows and relevant device management or maintenance tools. Ability to follow technical instructions and work independently. Good communication skills and willingness to coordinate equipment handovers when necessary. Compensation & Engagement Compensation: $30 per assignment. Engagement Type: On-demand, part-time. Work Setup: Primarily home-based, with occasional in-person equipment collection or handover. Transportation: Transportation expenses are reimbursable under the applicable arrangement.
